The Gifted are one of the UK’s most in-demand live party bands, performing at over 200 events a year, from elegant weddings and private parties to high-end corporate functions. With a lineup of the UK’s finest session musicians, The Gifted deliver exceptional sound, polished stage presence, and the kind of energy that gets every guest on their feet.
After several years of performing for hundreds of happy private and corporate clients, our flagship band The Talent found themselves in high demand—so much so that they were regularly turning work away simply because they couldn’t be in two places at once. On top of that, performing up to four nights a week, every week of the year, meant that band members occasionally needed time off to recharge or attend personal commitments. Rather than disappoint clients or stretch the band too thin, we created the perfect solution.
Deputies—commonly referred to as “deps”—are highly skilled, experienced musicians who step in whenever a regular band member is unavailable. These musicians regularly rehearse and perform with The Talent to ensure they match the same high standards and can seamlessly integrate into the live show. Think of it like Chris Martin having to step out, and Gary Barlow stepping in—you’re still in great hands. Many of our deps have performed in West End theatre pits and toured alongside major artists like Dave Grohl, Pulp, and Westlife.
It wasn’t long before we’d built an entire group of equally talented musicians with the same level of experience, energy, and professionalism that had made The Talent so successful. And just like that, The Gifted was born. With the same state-of-the-art QSC-powered PA system, intelligent lighting, stylish image, and wide-ranging repertoire, The Gifted deliver the same standard of performance and service—just with a different name.
